 "Works Perfectly" 2009-09-07
By Chris (Tacoma Wa.)
It does what It's supposed to do and that's work. We have been using this card in our Canon SD600 digital camera for a while now and because I failed to order a card with my new Canon T1I DSLR I put this card in my new camera and it works perfectly I even took some 720P HD video with it and no problems. Would recommend to anyone looking for a 2GB card

 "Reliable brand-name memory!" 2009-08-26
By Mark B. (Pittsburgh, PA)
If it wasn't for the free camera I won at work in 2003 I wouldn't have standardized on SD memory for my devices. So I got to witness the huge price drop for SD memory cards.

While I use DVD-R for long-term archival storage I mainly use these 2GB cards in my SanDisk e140 MP3 player and my Nikon Coolpix L5 digital camera mainly because they use the older SD card standard which is limited to 2GB anyway. But then I consider the e140 the best MP3 player I've ever used (the SD card slot and NiMH AAA battery support were huge considerations, along with a dot-matrix screen) while the Nikon has 5x optical zoom which, sadly, isn't found on the newer models.

But this is a review of SD card memory. And it's here where I can admit freely that I've tried many brands and noticed that some SD cards are faster than others. This "lag" is very noticeable in the Nikon camera. I've found that the SanDisk cards offer the right amount of performance for the dollar. When used in my MP3 player they don't draw much energy so I get a lot of playtime from charge to charge.

I'm sure anyone can find higher-capacity cards which offer less money per GB. But, for high quality 2GB SD cards, these are winners. And they appear faster than the Kingston and PNY cards.

does it's thing and does it well.

I use it for holding some music on my mp3 player and no problem so far.

"Vivid image - easy to use and organize" 2009-01-06
By C. Wood (Lovettsville, VA USA)
I've had experience with these sorts of frames by other manufacturers in the past - and it was not enjoyable. This one is a clear exception. The ability to dump pre-organized photos onto the frame via USB cable from your computer, couldn't be easier. And once there - this frame offers the ability to select multiple photos and delete them through the frame, instead of the cumbesome one-at-a-time or ALL delete functions on other frames. The image quality is great - and the big test: the grandparents figured out how to use it!

 "Horrible Product" 2008-12-30
By G. Wong (California)
We received the frame as a gift. The frame viewable area is extremely small (the diagonal length is 6"). The resolution is horrible. Do not buy this photo frame.

 "Problems after 1 year" 2008-12-16
By D. Williams (Danville, CA USA)
I purchased this product (PAN604-JAC 6" Pandigital Frame) as a gift for Christmas 2007. Now as we approach Xmas '08, my mother-in-law is complaining about how dim it's become. I was sure it was just the brightness setting, but even at maximum, the frame has lost significant brightness over just one year with occassional use.

I was never pleased with the picture quality of this frame, but it was a good price at the time (current models have much better resolution for the price than last year).

I am really unhappy now seeing how the frame has degraded over time. You can barely see the pictures anymore.

So buyer beware on these Pandigital frames. I don't know if they've improved quality, but look for other reviews from people who've owned their products for a year+.

 "Programming the On/Off Schedule" 2008-11-05
By Mark (Texas)
I didn't think I would like a digital photo frame, but was given this as a gift two years ago - and I LOVE having digital pictures of my family on my desk! As it is in my bedroom I wanted to be able to have it automatically turn off at night, and it has that feature. Having said that, the feature seemed tough to program! Whenever there was a power failure the frame reset back to an "always on" slide show, and each time it took me no end of trial and error to get it functioning again. Well, today in frustration I set about to figure it out. Here are bullet proof instructions for programming the on/off schedule for the Pandigital PAN604-JAC 6" photo frame:

Programming MUST be done during the time interval you want the frame to be ON.

Turn the frame off (switch on left side)

Turn it back on - the PanDigital splash screen appears

(on my unit the slide show starts as I have it configured for slide show)

Using the remote, click Exit, Exit to display the Photo/Music/Video/Clock menu

click arrow over to select Clock

CHECK the date and time and set (click Setup) if needed

If not already in Setup, click Setup

arrow down and click Set ON/OFF Schedule

arrow to set the turn on and turn off times as desired

click Exit Exit Exit (to save and get to the main screen)

turn the frame off

turn the frame back on

(get Panditigal splash screen)

(slide show starts)

click Setup button

arrow to Start Scheduled ON/OFF and click Enter

The next picture should show the "On" icon bottom left

The ON/OFF schedule is now properly set!

I have tested this procedure many times and it works every time. Hope this helps someone!

 "EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED" 2009-09-03
By Sylvia
I am very disappointed in this product. It is a very attractive frame and a nice size but it does not work. My daughter downloaded some wedding pictures on the frame. About a week later I went to her house to see the frame with wedding pictures. About six pictures in the frame just stopped and showed vertical lines only. She turned it off and back on and all she sees are vertical lines. Also there is no off/on for the music. You just have to turn it down to stop the music.

 "Great product, no complaints" 2009-09-22
By Austin J. Mcclendon
I don't have any complaints with this product. It works exactly like it says it should, which is a nice surprise for once.

 "more like 3,5 stars" 2009-09-11
By cemkur (San Francisco)
This simple and inexpensive device does a pretty good job in general, one annoying issue I noticed is that the remote is slow in response and no ability to turn the device off using the remote. Other than that it functions OK. Wireless worked out of the box, flawlessly. It automatically discovered shared resources on my home network and played the pictures on the folder I pointed it to. I can safely recommend this device for anyone who is looking for a simple and inexpensive wireless digital picture frame.

 "Not ready for primetime" 2009-01-06
By Florian (Chicago, IL USA)
While the DSM-210 has a lot of potential to be a great multimedia frame, it's implementation is disappointing.

I found the software and interface to be very flaky. In particular, many of the features that would allow it to sync from online picture sites (e.g. FlickR) only refreshed the pictures randomely or not at all.

My goal was to point it to a FlickR site and update pictures on the frame as they are posted on the site, with a reasonable delay (e.g. 1 hour). The pictures were never updated however.

Many other features, such as rotation, didn't work as expected (resulted in duplicate images) and customer support dropped my call.

In the end I returned the device in the hopes that a future version from D-Link or a competitor will support near real-time refreshing and provide a more robust software.

 "Nice frame" 2008-12-17
By Robert
It is a nice frame overall.

I bought it for my mother, so she can watch pictures that I can control via Internet. Although there are things that could be improved with few functions, this from can definitely do this.

I played with it for few weeks before I passed it to my mother. I recommend similar approach to everyone. There is little documentation in some areas, so few things you just need to try by yourself. It is not complex, but it is easier to do it yourself, rather than guide your parents over the phone trying differnt things with setup.

My improvements wish list: (I hope DLink is reading!)

- would be nice if frame remembered various settings when it's switched off on again it goes back to the same state. (e.g. transition effects, delay, which framchannel channel it was connected to etc.)

- some settings missing. e.g. would be nice to control time before frame goes to standby, or adjust contrast/brightness

- framechannel is generally ok, but more control would be nice. E.g. for flickr, would be nice to be able to select specific pictures set's to view. Selecting one by one from your whole photo stream can be time consuming.

Also you can attach to only 1 flickr account at this stage. Of course you can create multiple framechannel accounts and set them up on the frame, but practially pictures from only 1 channel are displayed at given time, and you do not expect your e.g. parents to be so skillful to grab the remote and reconfigure the frame :).

I also had probelms with having some of feeds to run, especially RSS. I'm sure it works, though I gave up having no time. Documentation would be nice about how to setup each of photo internet services, and what are teh pros/cons of using them. I did not comfirm that but had a feeling that with few services you need to make your pictures "public" so frame channel can pick it up.

- would be nice if frame was running http server and remote configuration was possible.

Even though I'm looking forward to improvements in the firmware, I still give it overall high score - good frame.

"Great frame with few cons" 2008-09-18
By S. Neyman
D-link is known for their terrible QA department, and this frame is not an exception. Had to RMA the first one I got (not from Amazon), it kept rebooting.

The second one works great. Frame is thin enough to be hung on the wall, very light, the screen is large and bright. Best part of course is the built-in wireless.

Antenna is very strong and I was able to pick up SSIDs from really far away. It took me a little while to get my wireless key to work, but once it works it is rock solid. Framechannel (online streaming of photos) is a good idea, though you are limited to 99 pictures per stream. I don't know why. I am streaming pics from Facebook and Picasa. Picasa is weak, b/c only one album at a time can be selected. Facebook on the other hand works well.

It can also grab pics from NAS. I have not had a chance to try it out yet.

Now on to cons. Frame shuts off after 15 minutes if it does not detect motion with built-in motion detector. Which is cool, but the only other way to shut it off is to physically switch it off on the back. Annoying. Would be awesome if I could shut it off via remote.

Remote is WEAK. It is tiny and signal is not strong enough. No power button on the remote. Basically, remote sucks.

Picture from internal frame or memory cards play only in order. Random play option would've been awesome.

Overall, I still give it 4 stars, as you can live with cons. I hope new firmware version would resolve some of the issues.

 "3 weeks later, I still can't use it." 2009-09-06
By Stanton B. Wyman (Mt. Holly, Vt. USA)
First of all, this review is for the COBY DP-758 ONLY. be forewarned, Amazon has this tendency lately to lump reviews for different products together, which makes finding accurate ones for what YOU are purchasing difficult at best! That being said, here's my review: There's nothing like the gift that keeps giving, and this thing is like Herpes...the pain never stops. I received it as a gift, and if you are thinking of buying it for someone, DON'T!! Just give 'em cash, I beg of you. To begin with, it has no internal memory, so immediate purchase of an SD memory card is a must. Then you are limited to the old fasioned, slow SD card (SDHC not compatible) with a 2GB max. So if you have LOTS of pictures, as I do, you will need several, and have to interchage them at regular intervals. Ok, so you have your SD card and think you're ready to go, right? WRONG!! They didn't even include a connectivity cable to hook it up to your computer! The instructions (The marginally better downloaded PDF document by the way, not the crappy instructions included in the box) simply say to connect your computer using a USB 2.0 High-speed cable, which should be easy, but what you actually need is a USB male 'A' to male 'A' connector NOT an A/B extension or even A/A extension which has one female end. This cable thus far, seems to be made with unobtainium, 'cause it's impossible to find. First, I went to Radio-Shack, Staples, Wal-Mart, Best Buy (the list goes on...) and nothing, zero, zip nada...there just isn't any. Not even Belkin had one. Next, I tried online... but 2 tries later (even though the description sounded right) I have returned both, and had to pony up the return shipping to boot (more time and money wasted). Oh and forget about customer service, you are better off asking your pet, or maybe one of those fortune telling eight-balls. Consequently, I still have a picture frame that's only good for a door-stop, and my limited options are; Build the cable myself and risk damaging my computer for this piece of crap, trash it altogether, or perhaps re-gift to someone I really, really don't like.

 "Limitied capabilities" 2009-09-01
By Jacinto J. Cordero
Aside from a clearly visible grid on the screen, the products has many limitations. To do a slide show of pictures, you have to have all the pictures in the same folder. Besides, you can not have more than 500 pictures per folder, or the last ones will not be shown. So if you have lots pictures organized in folders (like most of us do), you have to copy them into a same folder, which is very troublesome; and most likely you will have to split them in different folders of 500 pictures each, and every once in a while select a different folder. I wish there was a firmware upgrade so the product could randomly display pictures in any folder in a memory device. ...Oops, almost forgot, even though you have different options for memory devices, they cannot be more than 1GB in size or they wont work, another annoyance since nowdays is difficult to find devices of less than 2GB.

"Portable USA PU-5P digital picture frame review" 2009-02-05
By James M. Rupprecht
I purchased this product because I found it to have many positive reviews. I admit that the frame was easy to use regardless of the poor manual. My frame had one bright blue pixel showing all the time. It was not a big deal but after leaving the frame running a few hours lines started running through the pictures. I decided to return it to Amazon for a full refund.

I didn't really know what to expect this was my first digital picture frame. After purchase I saw other digital picture frames and it was comparable to them. All seem to not be very bright, and not very high res.

Very disappointed in this product. Unlike any frame purchased previously. Cut pictures in half.

 "Photos Look Great" 2009-01-07
By Pileated (CT, USA)
Bought this at Radio Shack for my wife for Christmas. I'd wanted an 800x600 resolution frame, but this 640x480 frame displays surprising quality images with a bright, clear screen, for less money than the higher resolution units. I'm satisfied with the images, and I'm glad I got the 10.4 inch size rather than the smaller sizes. The frame comes with everything you need to get going, though, as I mention below, it's best to have an extra memory device, whether USB, SD, or other flash memory in order to get the most out of it.

The interface and menu system on the unit itself is rather clunky in my opinion. The best way I found to use it is to insert a camera SD card in the frame's memory slot and plug the unit into a computer using the included USB cord. Windows sees the memory card in the frame as a USB/photo device and opens it as a folder that is easy to copy photos to with little fuss. The frame's onboard memory of 128 megabytes is woefully inadequate for picture files produced by today's digital cameras (it tapped out at less than 100 photos when I tried it), but flash memory cards and USB drives are so cheap now that you can load hundreds of even very large resolution pictures on a 2GB or 4GB card for a reasonable additional expense. Or you can just swap your camera's memory card into the frame if you like.

It isn't necessary to resize photos to load them on to the frame; you can either let the frame's software resize them to fit the proportions of the display screen--they'll be automatically cropped---or choose, as I did, to maintain the original picture's format and put up with black margins that really aren't distracting. I got carried away and ended up scanning many old prints and editing them in Photoshop Elements so we could look at them on this frame. (I found most of them needed increased contrast and lower brightness to look good on the LCD display.)

Almost gave the frame 3 stars for the following reasons:

I have to echo what other people say about the lack of a random order possibility. This really does become a drag after the slide show has run a few times in the exact same order.

The bracket included with the frame is flimsy and provides too little support; mounting on the wall would be safer. I ended up making my own bracket.

Another problem I ran into, probably my own clumsiness, was the first time I tried to insert an SD card into the frame's slot I actually missed the slot and managed to lose the card inside the back of the frame. I had to take the frame apart to get the SD card out.

This is a nice product. Looks nice and easy to use. You can start showing pictures right away. Allows for expanded memory that you will need. Very few instructions but you won't need them. For those who like to plug and play this product is for you.

 "A great deal!" 2008-08-12
By Bibhas Biniwale (Houston, USA)
Pros:

Nicely enhanced bright colors; Simple interface; Play background music; Takes most memory media; Remote

Cons:

Shabby backpanel construction; Photos cannot be randomized; Heats up a lot

At $100 (Aug 2008 on RitzCamera.com), this is an outstanding deal in the 11" digital photo frame segment. The colors of the pics seen in the frame are amazingly bright, and even low resolution pics look great on this screen.

The musical playback is great feature, though I haven't found a way of turning it off. It can give a surreal or nostalgic effect depending on your pics.

The interface is simple, with minimal buttons.

Its capable of reading almost any kind of media including USB stick, compact flash cards, MMC and SD cards. With an internal memory of 128 MB and almost unlimited external media memory, one can literally enjoy their entire life's albums on this beautiful digital photo frame.

I have never used the remote, but its a cool feature to have on this gadget.

Although, the front panel of the frame looks elegant, the finishing of the back-panel is a bit shoddy. The actual electronic display is held inside a plastic frame with the help of 4 screws, but the two surfaces don't flush onto each other very well, giving it an uneven level difference. The screws also go into the panel at random angle because of the level difference.

Leave the screen on for more than 2 hrs and it will melt down all the stuff within 3 ft from it! The big screen dissipates a lot of heat. I haven't seen if other frames give out as much heat as well, but this seems to get a bit too hot!

A couple of features that I thot were missing was the ability to randomize the pics on the media and to turn off the music if wanted. But for all the other good features that it has, losing out on these two is not a big deal for me.

A happy customer and recommended till another superior piece comes in the market at a lower price!

I got this through an Amazon affiliate... TigerDirect...for a VERY good price. I used an old page offering that has since been revampted..ie in price.

This might well be the best priced Dig Pic Frame for the bucks...that has good quality. Warranty is short so try it ASAP.

I did some research and the reviews were generally quite good. I am pleased. Good resolution.

The key is to have quality images. Images that have been altered using s/w might not look that good. Fist generation pics with the least amount of manipulation work best.

I use a Crucial 1GB Gizmo Jr...as a thumbdrive...small..hidden by the frame.

The frame is beautiful..cherry finish and looks very expensive. The size is perfect when used at a distance. The simple remote has good features.

I still have to play with it to maximize ie features and benefits.

"The way digital frames were meant to be" 2008-02-14
By LiveOnTwoWheels (East Coast, USA)
I LOVE this product. I purchased a frame that was not wireless, but was highly rated here at Amazon, but it did not offer near the flexibility that Digital Spectrum does, so I returned it and got this one (by the way, Amazon is the BOMB for easy returns!). Not only can I select which photos to view in each slide show, but the REAL benefit for this product is being able to upload them remotely. I use it as an "info kiosk" of sorts for my business - hrs of operation, specials, etc. I can change it daily as we have new specials, etc - works great for people with no artistic or graphic skills because I can use software that have cool "templates" to make me LOOK GOOD. However, I think this would even be better for someone wanting to share photos with a grandparent who might not be "technology savy". All they need is an internet connection with a wireless router installed (something that comes with many cable subscriptions), and they can automatically update the pictures their grandparents see - all without ever touching the unit, and all without ever asking their grandparent to touch the device - HOW COOL IS THAT!?! I love this thing, and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to share photos with a family member who just "doesn't get technology", but who is willing to have the internet installed.

 "So far so good" 2007-12-03
By D. Dickinson (South Florida)
I looked at reviews for all the wireless frames in the market. They all scared me to a point were I didn't want to buy any of them, but finally went with this one. Actually wanted the 10.4" frame, but figured if its altogether a bust then at least I can buy my parents dinner (with the $75 I didn't spend) as a makeup gift. :)

Got it fast from Amazon. Ordered it Wednesday night free slow boat shipping and it showed up the following Monday. Ok, happy with that.

Got the box open and looked inside. Some interesting packaging, but everything looked good.

Plugged it in, didn't read the manual. Navigated the menus and found network setup. It found my network. Clicked it, entered the WEP key. Done. Well you hope so. As one review pointed out, it just brings you back to the menu, so if you got it right, great. Not sure what you see if you get it wrong.

Then, I went to setup an RSS feed because what I really want to do is email pictures to my parent's frame and have them magically appear. So I had previously played with FrameChannel and knew what I needed to do. I entered the RSS feed URL. This was painfully long with the remote, but got it done and apparently it was correct.

Next, I hit play slideshow AND ... only the canned pictures came up. Ok, read the setup instructions on FrameChannel, very concise. Followed them and WOW! Pictures started coming down. (I needed to set the source for the slideshow) Then I started emailing a bunch of pictures to the framesend.com address they give you and then figured out how to get them to automatically become active when they are from an invited source on FrameChannel. Now they just flow to the frame.

All in all a pretty good experience so far.

If I run into any trouble, I will post an update.

"Part of a digital solution" 2007-11-08
By Kaleberg (Port Angeles, WA United States)
Now that I've gone digital, I actually look at my photos even more than when they were stored in bulky albums and shoe boxes. Screen savers are nice, but I usually have a browser, my mail program, and a host of other stuff on my screen, so all I'd see would be strips and corners. My camera is digital. Why shouldn't my picture display be digital?

The Digital Spectrum MemoryFrame 8000 Premium U-40100 is a pretty sophisticated piece of work. To start with, it is not ugly. It contains a Windows CE computer that can support WiFi, USB, memory cards and Bluetooth, which is better than some laptops I've owned. The WiFi works pretty well. It's up on my WPA2 Apple Extreme/Express network. I had to enter the password with the remote control to get it started, but it is now a networked computer. I tested it out with Flickr, and it could download my photos and take advantage of Flickr's new photo "sets" folders.

I tried it with a Bluetooth dongle and set it up as an "other" device with no password / pairing code. Send file works. The image I send from my Apple laptop pops up on the picture frame nicely, but I cannot browse the frame's internal storage. In fact, once I try to browse, I can no longer send.

I hooked up a USB cable to my computer and was able to access the frame as a disk drive. That was pretty neat, but I would prefer a wireless solution. I haven't tried camera memory cards or a direct camera connection because I store my photos on my laptop. Since I backup my laptop, that means I back up my photos. I can't imagine why anyone with a home computer would care about this feature except for carrying photos to someone without email without burning a CD.

Supposedly, the frame can grab pictures from Windows machines running Windows Media Player 11. I don't have a Windows machine, so I couldn't test this. I do know that the current version cannot display photos shared using iPhoto's sharing mechanism.

If you want an easy to use, flexible, wireless digital picture frame, I'll recommend the Digital Spectrum MemoryFrame. It's not completely wireless. It needs a power cord, but, as I noted earlier, it's not ugly. With a bit of camouflage, it's a great way to enjoy your pictures.

Of course, Chez Kaleberg, I like to push the technology a bit, so I took advantage of push technology, and here we see one of the frame's weak points. It really wants to pull. If you hook up a USB cable, you can mount the frame as a disk and load whatever pictures you want into it, but it cannot be mounted as a disk using WiFi. I tried a port scan. The only ports were for a web site server, 80 and 443. This frame is actually running Apache, if that means anything to you. What I was hoping for was an Windows SMB service, or better yet, an FTP socket. That way, I could just load in the pictures I wanted to show.

Instead, I took advantage of another feature of the frame, it's ability to display pictures from an arbitrary public RSS picture feed. Since I have my own web site, I could just store a feed there and tell the frame to bring in any pictures I wanted from the internet in general or from my local network. That means I can show webcam images from national parks, personal photos, website photos, business charts and weather reports. What a neat toy! I would have given it five stars, save for the lack of an FTP server.

"Good, simple digital picture frame" 2009-09-01
By Bryan J. Higgs (Milford, NH USA)
The GiiNii GN-711W Digital Picture Frame arrived with little delay from my order.

It was quite easy to set up, once I got used to the somewhat non-intuitive menu system.

I uploaded a number of photos from a recent Tanzanian Safari to the frame, using its USB connection -- basically just like a flash drive -- and had very few problems. I was surprised how little space I had taken up with these photos; I intend to upload a few more when I have time.

The display is quite good, at least to my eyes.

Originally, I thought I would get a photo frame with WiFi support, but eventually decided to keep things simple. I'm glad I did. And this frame came at a great price. We had seen it at a local Target store, and came home to read the reviews online. They were reasonably good, and when I priced it at Amazon, I was amazed how much less expensive it was than at Target!

I would buy another one of these frames.

 "Ok and reasonably cheap." 2009-08-18
By Inane (New York, NY United States)
Pros:

Pictures look good

Lots of options for slide shows

Cons:

Poorly constructed, I had to reattach the bezel when the glue gave out.

The stand isn't at all adjustable and there's no provision to hang it from a wall.

Power cord is thick and obtrusive.

"This is everything I expected and more" 2009-08-07
By Trey Shaw (texas)
I researched a lot of frames and this frame seemed to be the best for the money. I like the brushed metal frame look. The pictures are clear and not stretched. This is a plus if you are getting a digital frame for women. It does not make them look wide. I have not played with the timers yet, but the clock is big and readable from across the room. Over all I am pleased with my purchase.

 "Poor user interface" 2009-05-02
By B. Keesan
Image quality is fine but the user interface is ridiculously poor. Everything related to loading and using this frame is complicated, from the software to the hardware (buttons). Nothing is clear, the user guide is almost useless and I'm a tekkie type. Even worse, each time it turns off-on, you have to go through a series of menu choices all over again just to show the same album. Don't buy this -- there are far better choices out there.

 "I just like it!" 2009-03-27
By Q. Jin (Ann Arbor)
finally, I got a way to deal with the 3G pictures on my computer. it's just what I need! so far, haven't found anything bad, except... can it copy pictures from PC faster? also, it seems unable to tell the pictures already existing in it so sometimes I got two same pictures there.

"Good quality for its price" 2009-03-26
By MagdaE (California, USA)
I purchased two of the 6.5 inch metallic frames as a gift for my parents and my parents-in-law, after spending almost a week on Amazon reading reviews on various digital frames. I chose this one because of the size (relatively small), the fact that it has an acceptable aspect ratio that won't crop the photos that much (as some "widescreen" frames do) and the 128MB built-in memory capacity. I was not disappointed. Both frames arrived in a perfect condition. I was able to just plug them in my mac through the USB cable and drag-and-drop the photos to the internal memory (didn't have to purchase extra memory, although the frame does accept one as alternative input). The interface of the frame itself is rather straightforward and the buttons on the back very easy to use. The photos are easy to handle in the frame (rotate etc) and the same holds for all the other settings (e.g. those of the slideshows). The photos' quality was very good and the overall look-and-feel of the frame very modern.

One thing that I'd like to point out, regarding other reviewers' comments on the "baby" photo: I was able to delete all the photos that came with the frame, including that particular baby photo. I guess that this had to do with some software bug which they have now fixed.

Overall I think that this is a very good buy if you want to buy a 6-8 inch frame that isn't widescreen, needing minimal installation (at least for mac users) and is very intuitive to use.
