"don't fall into the trap!" 2009-10-17
By Phillip Lyle (Irvine, CA)
Don't fall into the trap - this picture frame is a piece of crap!

- Clock is dead on arrival and cannot be configured. HP knows of this and will not fix it.

- Shuffle mode doesn't really shuffle.

- Remote control needs to be a few centimeters from the screen.

But, if you like whole swaths of your product unusable, this is the picture frame for you!

 "Good product....Justified price" 2009-09-28
By D. SINGH (Waterloo)
In all this is really good digital photo frame with ample of features....Possibly a good buy at given price.

Pros.

Good picture quality.

Ease of use.

Image resizing.

Multiple Card/USB interface options.

Supports most JPEG/Audio/Video format

Cons.

After pause (in slide show mode) the music starts playing from begining.

One can not play pictures folderwise. All photos available in folders/subfolders are included in

slide show.

(For above two problems I am still exploring wayout)

"Nice frame for the money" 2009-09-25
By T. Snodgrass (Springfield, MO)
This frame was bought as a gift and the pictures were easy to download off our computer harddrive. The only complaints are that the remote doesn't have an on and off button so it has to be done manually from the back of the frame, and the random setting will show several of the same pictures over and over before all the pictures are viewed. The picture quality was good and we liked the wood frame.

 "Bad experience" 2009-09-18
By J. Bonis (Sao Paulo, Brazil)
Purchased this product in the US to be used in Brazil (same electric conditions-115V/ 60Hz). Did not work out of the box, and now HP in Brazil tells me that the "global" warranty is not global, does not apply here because this product is not available here yet. Such a shame....

"Idiotic Shuffle Mode cripples nice product" 2009-05-15
By M. Lengowski (USA)
Picture is nice. Sound is nice. Remote works well. Menus easy to navigate. Image is nice. Easy to use. Just load up a memory card and let it play... BUT... the Shuffle Mode is INSANELY FRUSTRATING!

I can't believe HP released this product. How difficult is it to program a shuffle mode that won't repeat photos? Or a shuffle mode that doesn't repeat the same pattern every time you start it? Not very. Apparently the authors of the manual didn't think this was difficult either. They included a line stating how the shuffle mode SHOULD work. Instead, the frame often displays the same image as many as three times in 5 minutes. (!!!) So, despite having loaded hundreds of photos, I end up looking at the same few photos over and over again. HP's solution? Change the wording in the manual.

Unbelievable.
