I bought this for my girlfriend loaded pictures and tested this picture frame it worked fine. She packed it in the origional box and recently unpacked it at her new residence. It stopped working no power light and blank screen. Check the power adapter end with fluke meter voltage is ok. It is a shame product used only twice and broke. Will never buy from a company never heard of again.

I got this for my girlfriend for her birthday and she really likes it. The frame has high resolution for really good picture quality at 800X480. It also plays songs and videos but she doesn't really use those features. It has its own internal memory to hold your pictures or you could just leave your memory card in it and it will play a slide show of those. My only complaint is about the remote. It works fine but you have to point it directly at the sensor from only a few inches away for it to work consistently correct. But there are buttons on the back of the frame anyways. I definitely recommend this digital frame to anyone who wants a good quality digital picture frame at the best price around.

This is my first photo frame, but I have been an avid photographer most of my life. I wanted to go cheap, but get a decent picture. This frame is inexpensive for its size and its 480x800 resolution is very sharp. I get a really nice sharp image. I use Photoshop to size the image to 480x800 to get the ideal size so the frame does not have to do anything with my image. If you don't do this step I don't know how well it will do with the image.
The manual is OK if you actually read it. I did not and had a few problems because the frame did not work in a way I expected. So read the manual.
I just want to use it to show pictures, so I have no opinion of its other features. It can play music, play some movie formats, show a calendar with time and a small photo, and has an alarm.
It has really short power and pc connection cords. So I have to get an extension cord to be able to place it on my desk. When I want to download photos from my computer, I have to move it close to my USB ports. So those short cords are definitely not ideal and one reason for not a top rating.
The remote does not seem to reliably send its codes to the frame. Sometimes I push a button and nothing happens. Also it takes a while for it to realize what it has been told to do...so it is slow. Not a big deal, but again not the best.
Bottom line really happy with picture quality and price. Not so happy with the short cords and the way the remote works.
