This photo frame is good small photo frame. It does a good job of fitting various sized pictures. Charges both from PC and AC power. Not very important but copying pictures from Memory card to internal memory is a hassle as you have to copy one picture at a time.
It is good for viewing pictures from a closer distance. The display is as big as a good mobile phone. But worth the price.

this was advertised as an HP product, but it is not made by them, but by a company called Luxentia. I called the company about another issue and told them I was going to return it. they were very helpful - arranged to have my credit card credited and even told me to keep the product. But I think customers should know what they're buying.

HP 3.5-Inch Digital Frame
Product arrived as promised. Photos that came pre-installed on frame were VERY clear & bright. Unfortunately, I was not able to get it to work on either my desktop or my laptop computer. Customer service responded immediately with new instructions on how to get it to function. Instructions failed to help. Item was returned & I had a credit to my account even before my product was received by them.
Great customer service experience. I give 5 stars for that!

Despite being furious about having the HP frame switched to Luxentia frame, this review is about the frame. It is adequate if you plan to use it for relatively short periods or have it plugged into a USB port. You cannot plug it into the wall for use elsewhere. I would not have purchased the product if I had known about this limitation. Ease of use, picture, etc. are fine, just not very handy with the short (1 to 2 hours)battery life and lack of being able to be plugged into a standard outlet.

Based upon 4 days' experience I have nothing but good things to say about this 3.5 inch HP digital frame. Had the time been longer, and assuming it continues to work as well, I would have given it 5 stars. It is easy to use, the buttons WORK (unlike the 2 similar units by Coby that I tried and sent back to Amazon). The only negative I see so far (and I knew this going in) is that the battery has a short life of 2 years and cannot be replaced.
Instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Large photo images can be loaded easily from the card to the memory, or the photos can be displayed directly from the card. Most importantly, the photos are sharp and clear. The package is attractive and easy to carry in pocket or purse.
I finally was able to get this item for my wife to use as a Grandma's Brag Book w/ photos of grandchildren. Had to get it from an outside vendor as Amazon did not have it in stock. The Coby, on the other hand, which was my second choice, was easy to get. But since it was unworkable and worthless, I ended up paying extra shipping to get in here on time. So far it is worth the extra shipping costs.
I am considering getting others to give as gifts.
